CANZBA Membership and Support Enquiry

In an effort to increase the focus on Canada - New Zealand business relations and extend the reach of the Association (CANZBA), the Executive has decided to implement a new membership strategy.

Membership will now be FREE to any company that is doing, or has an interest in doing business with Canada. As a part of the membership, companies who register will receive our newsletters, trade referrals and opportunities to network with others with similar interests.

As you will appreciate we will still have overheads to cover so we offer companies the following options of supporting us:

Sustaining Membership and Donations

Companies that have a significant interest and/or relationship between the two countries may like to consider becoming a Sustaining Member (a minimum of $500, no maximum) or provide a donation at a level of their own choosing (to give you a guideline for the last few years subscriptions have been $195 (inc GST) for Auckland, $150 (inc GS) for the Rest of NZ and $100 for Overseas members).

Companies who become Sustaining Members or who provide significant donations will have their logo put on the CANZBA website plus a hyperlink to their own website.

Newsletter

Our popular newsletter is being further enhanced, and will be publishing it five times a year on the last day of the month (March, May, July, September & November). We will be offering companies banner, half and full page ads ranging from $50 to $500 depending on size.

The newsletter will be sent out to every company that we have identified as trading with or has an interest in trading with, investing in/from, or has links with Canada. This is currently around 1,000 companies and organisations throughout NZ and about 50 key contacts in Canada.

There will be a limited number of opportunities for other companies to have their logos and hyperlink to their website for a fee. This will range from $25 to $50 pm

Events

The Association runs a number of diverse events each year built around international and local keynote speakers relevant to Canada New Zealand business. We will be running about 5-7 events a year (optimal number as per the latest membership survey), and companies will have the opportunity of hosting and/or sponsoring these. These will vary from breakfasts and lunches, to business After 5’s, as well as the annual social golf tournament.

Companies that sponsor an event will have the opportunity to speak at the event and have advertorial in the next newsletter.

Each year the Association will look at an outreach programme visiting other key cities in New Zealand and Sustaining & Donors will be invited to be part of the Canada Calls team”
